Your mention of Rochester, NY interests me. I'm interested in the TWITCHELL family that settled in Ontario and Wayne Co, NY, coming in the very early 1800s from Massachusetts (MA). I'd like to exchange info with others researching this group - especially Amos b. 1791. The family moved on to Ashtabula county, OHio
The Twitchell Family by Ralph Emerson Twitchell, published 1929, gives wife of Amos as Anne McCLOTH. I believe this should have read Anne McLOATH or McLOTH. I'm attempting to find a connection between Anne and the McLOATH families in Ontario and Wayne Co, NY
