Thanks for visiting my Web Site
You asked about Humphry. "YES"
Lemuel Twichell had a son by the name of Lemuel Houghton Twichell. He was always called Humphry by everybody. You can find the details on him if you go back to the Web Site and look up "Lemuel Twichell of 1774"
He is Humphry's father.
Also, the Twitchell name also was spelled Truchel but around the time of Lemeul of 1774 or a generation earlier, some of the family changed from the conventional spelling of Twitchell to Twichell. However, they are all the same family. Lois had a sister who married Barnabus Botsford. When she died she was listed as a Truchel.
I know that my Twichell (t) side had other Twitchells around them even after the daughters married. (such as Lois Twichell being married to my G.Grandfather - George Blackwell of 1834)
If I can be of more help, please let me know. I have a book of memoirs written by Lois Clarinda Twichell (my G. Grandmother) May be something in it that might help you.
Ron Blackwell
