Twite from Bristol and London
My Grandmother's Grandmother (Fracesca Clara Inez Gordon , first marriage was to a French man with surname of RATTI, known as Inez) married a Fredrick Twite on July 12 1869 in Lambeth, London. She had been his "mistress" in Bristol while his first wife had been alive. He also had a brother who lived near him in Bristol.
Both brothers seem to have moved to London around the 1865 date.Fredrick and Inez had these children:
Frederick "Ratti" born 1862, father Twite
Amelia Inez "Ratti", father Twite, registered at Stapleton, near Briston1864
Frederick "Ratti" registered in 1865 at Victoria Park, London
Arthur Ruben Twite, born 1872 Battersea, London
Lindsay Gordon Twite 1873.He fought in the South African War.
Margaret Amy Twite 1874
Grace Haunch Twite 1876
Ruth Evelyn Twite 10/5/1878, Stockwell, London
On Ruth's birth cert Fredrick was described as a retired Butcher.
In the marriage certificate Fredrick's age was 48 (in 1869) and his father's name was Jospeh Twite (desceased)
