Joel C. Cheatham, Nancy's husband died in 1872. On 18 Dec 1887 Nancy married her 3rd husband, Green Berry LOFTIN in Angelina Co, TX. Nancy's death date and burial is unknown.
Story has it that Nancy is of Native American (i.e., Indian) descent. Old photos appear to substantiate this claim. Any information concerning Nancy and her parentage will be greatly appreciated.
As a sidenote, one of Nancy's grandchildren - Alvin Cheatham - married into the Trevathan family (i.e., he married Trona Roberta Trevathan).
