Hiter's parents were William W. Robinson and Susan Jane Evans of Itawamba County, Mississippi.
Hiter and Lilly Mae lived in Itasca around 1910-1920 before moving to Armstrong County where they can be found in the 1930 census. Hiter apparently had a Ford dealership in Claude, Texas.
