"Atascosa Ice Tornado"

Back on January 6, 2000 ~ a lady by the name of "Bertha R. Weigler" posted a message (see Message # 3) on this Atascosa Genforum and stated that she had a copy of a San Antonio Newspaper Account relating to an awful storm that hit Atascosa County (near the Lytle & Benton City area by the IG&N Railroad) in the mid-1890's ~ she described the storm as a "Ice Tornado". She went on to say that the newspaper article listed many peoples names who were injured in this storm. I have emailed this lady several times and each time, my email is returned to me saying that the email address on her is no longer any good; I have also directly emailed several of the people that did indeed respond to her query shortly after it was posted and each of these people have emailed me back saying that they too have never received a response from this lady. I am in great hopes that someone reading my message today knows how to get in contact with this Bertha R. Weigler or might possibly have received a copy of this 'Newspaper Article' (the 'Ice Tornado') and would be willing to share it with myself and numerous others.

Your help and hospitality would be greatly appreciated; you can email me privately at prestine@devtex.net or please post your response here on this board. Thanks Again
James Collins ~ Lytle, Texas
