I am seeking information about my grandmother, Lourinda Jane Slaughter, born Jan.28, 1871, and raised by the James Murdock family near Del Rio. She went by the name Jennie, or the nickname Jinks. I also need info on her twin sister and older brothers, all given to other families to raise. And who were her birth parents?
I am at a dead end to find my grandmothers roots. Thank you for any help at all. I am 72 and need to know this stuff before I too am an ancestor.
