Hello Pat My great grand dad James Wesley Rhodes was married to Dona Liles the younger of Amos Liles daughters. My grand dad was 9 years old when Dona his mother passed away and she is buried in Lamar County Texas where everyone moved to and lived and died there. I am thinking Dona was a nickname and her real name was Viola or Velma. The census shows that Amos lived next door to Wes Rhodes,[ Wes is what he went by some of the time] and had one daughter still home and her name is Mollie. By the way the Rhodes Families left Bastrop County in the early 1920's and Moved to Lamar County Texas. I have lots of info on the families connected to the Liles after they came to Texas. I am willing to trade info with you or give you what I have. I have census files in pdf form and any other info. after you answer this email. Looking forward to emailing back and forth with you.
