Thank you for responding. We do have the pension request and have learned nothing new. John T. and 2nd wife, Josephine F. McDonald had a son listed on the 1900 census as Lester E. McDonald, age 4. If we can find out if he lived or where Josephine's daughter's family resides (Mrs. Jesse McCright, the Katie Kennedy age 17 on the 1900 census)we might get some answers as to where John T. might have been buried. Frank G. McDonald's information did give some new information to his family that they were glad to receive. If you can offer any other helps on finding anything we would appreciate it so much. We think they have to be buried in the Bastrop area.
