I was in Seymour yesterday looking for the cemeteries. I found several:

Riverview (new)
Masons
Catholic
Seymour - I found all of my relatives there and they all died in the late 1800's.

I talked to both the funeral home and the man who runs the cemeteries. Those I have listed are the ones they said Seymour residents would have been buried in, so if you haven't checked those, do. My gg grandfather was a Mason, but he was buried in the Seymour cemetery, not the Masonic cemetery.

Be aware before you go there to search, that cemetery has been vandalized or neglected because many, many of the headstones were broken and laying on the ground. It appeared my gg grandfather's headstone had been repaired.

None of those cemeteries have been indexed and the man from the cemetery said he had no plans to. What a shame. I saw a lot of older graves on the right side, toward the front. That's where my people were, too.

Happy hunting!
