Frances Smith Craft Herrington was the wife of my great uncle, John Granberry Herrington, Jr. She is buried in our family cemetery with John G. and her son, J. Sid Craft. I know nothing about the Craft family. When I read this post, I called a couple of my aunts and uncles who are still alive and they could give me no info either. They did say that she never talked about her first marriage. They knew your granfather because he lived with the Herringtons and grew up next door to my mother's family.


My memories of Aunt Frances are those of a young child. She was always very sweet. I know that she and Uncle John had a son who is still living. I do not have his address nor his phone number. You may contact me privately and I can give you what info I do have on him. I know that his health has not been good in recent years.
