Searching Bell Co. for info pertaining to Bill Barksdale. His real name would be Wm. "Bill" or "Willie" Randolph. born Dalton, Ga. 16 Apr. 1890, d. Oct. 1964, Bell Co., Tx. He assumed the surname Barksdale from his step-dad, Frank Barksdale. His mother was Martha Randolph. looking to connect this to the Eastern Cherokee's of Murray, Ga. Possibly connected to the Cherokee "Smith's" of the Eastern Cherokee's. Thank You, Bob Taylor.
