I am trying to help a 95-year-old friend join the DAR. As you can imagine, time is of the essence. Her cousins have done some research, but most of it is undocumented, & that is where I'm asking your help.

She descends from Revolutionary Soldier William Dragoo [1747-1824] whose service we have documented.

I need help documenting that John Ephraim Dragoo [1783-1867] is his son. I'm told that John was b. in Monongalia Co, W VA & died in Bosque Co, Tx, & that his wife Esther Lanham was b. 1790 & died 1829 in Missouri.

Then we need to prove that John & Esther had a daughter Temperance, b. 1813, KY, who married John Snowden, then Thomas Mattox, and died 1896/7 in Carroll Co, Mo. Temperance was my friend's great-grandmother.

ANY help will be SOOOO much appreciated.
