Hello to all,
I must be part of what I have heard and read from several sources...that of the "lost" Day clan.
The earliest information I can find is that my Great Grandfather was Joe Day. His son, my Grandfather whom I loved very dearly was Tom Day. His son, my Father was Ben Wayne Day. I do know that my Grandfather's family is from Bosque County as I attended a family reunion in Clifton, TX in the early 1980's. My Great Uncle Dillard was a Pastor in the area and a wonderful and Godly man.

I had never even heard of Edith Scroggins until I found this. The information regarding my Great Grandmother Edith Scroggins follows thusly:

I know nothing beyond this. I am a history buff and have all my life LONGED to know where I came from so my children can know as they have a great interest in this as well.
I apologize for this being as long as it is, but if ANYONE has any relation to me or any knowledge of this line of the Days will you PLEASE help me know where, how, IF I can get further in my search to know who I am and where I am from.
I know that my Grandfather, whose name was Tom was married to Ruth Meeker. However, I know nothing of the Meeker line. I personally find this very tragic that I do not know and cannot find out any information. I have asked relatives but evidently my Day family wasn't adept at keeping records which saddens me greatly. ANY help would be more than appriciated.
