I am trying to find out any information about John Swift an outlaw from this area. He was killed in Bosque by a posse from Waco when he tried to escape as they brought him back to Waco from Stephensville, presumably to answer for a crime in Waco. The date of his death was August 23, 1873. Any information on him or his activities would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
