Trying to sort out what happened to my gg granduncle,William A FREEMAN. I have him in Hooks per an obituary for his sister in 1946. He originally came from Walker Creek, LaFayette Co., Arkansas.
We show also a 4 yr old William FREEMAN in a household with poss an Edwin or Edmun DUBOSE,wife named Caroline or Carolina. We think she may be the widow of another gg granduncle who remarried and brought the boy into the marriage. Or, they got the first William Freeman's age waaaay off and he is living with kin.
Any help most appreciated! We are working hard on the FREEMAN line GA and then to ARK and a few trickled down into TX.
