Elmore and his family moved to TX 1887 until about 1897-8. There were family members in Bowie Co.and Red River Co. Elmore has children born in TX- Troy, Minnie, Cora and John. They were in I.T.in 1900. I am wondering how to find a record of these 4 births. Does the state keep old birth records or would the county be the place to look. I am uncertain which county they were born in. Mrs. Knight may have died during this time. I cannot find her name or place of death.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Elmore moved with his girls and son to Marshall Co.OK. He married again -had 2 daughters and was widowed again I am looking for the name of his first wife that had these kids in TX. Any help greatly appreciated.
