Community members interested in learning to trace their roots are invited to a FREE genealogy seminar on Feb 26, 2005 from 10am to 1pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 2700 Lehi Lane in Alvin, across from Pearson Park.
The seminar will be taught in three parts: basic genealogy, resources for finding information, and viewing actual film and fische on machines.
Staff will answer questions, including where to start, what kinds of places to look for records, and what to do when you have a problem in your research.
