In the mid 1840's through 1850s, Jacob Matson and his wife, Amelia/Mary lived in Quintana. My g-g-g grandmother Hannah Goss Stevens and her children might have stayed with the Matson's for an extended period while my g-g-g grandfather, James Stevens was in Colorado County, Texas. I need historical and societal information on Quintana. If you are aware of a particular source, book, website, etc., that would provide information, please let me know. Also, any information on Jacob Matson and his wife, would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
