Here are some miscellaneous notes on folks named Blatherwick. I am not related to this family - I just collected these along while doing research on Brazos County.
BLATHERWICK, S.N.; Mary F. BLATHERWICK. Brazos County District Court Minute Book E, p.125 126, 19 Nov. 1873. They were divorced. The record includes a very long list of property which was divided.

BLATHERWICK, Nancy A., Mrs.; Mrs. --- BLATHERWICK died; wife of Raymond BLATHERWICK. Galveston Daily News, 17 Apr.1881, p.1, col.6. The 1880 Brazos Co., TX, Census, p.345b, shows Raymond BLATHERWICK as being married to Nancy A. BLATHERWICK.
BLATHERWICK, S.N.; Died from pneumonia. Galveston Daily News, 4 Apr.1884, p.1, col.8. Case 270 filed 7 Apr.1884. WPA Probate Index for Brazos County.
