Hello, I am looking for any information on a BEEN family in Silverton, TX around 1899. Nannie HUGHES, b. abt 1875 in Round Rock, Williamson Co., TX married my g grandfather C.M. BEEN, date and place unknown, but probably in Texas. Their daughter, my grandmother, Mamie BEEN was b. 24 Aug 1899 in Silverton, Briscoe Co., TX d. 1 Feb 1924 Kansas City, MO. I just recently received the death certificate for Mamie which shows Mamie's place of birth as Silverton, Tex. C.M. and Nannie (HUGHES) BEEN also had a son Jack BEEN b. 9 June 1893 but I do not know where he was born. Please post a reply here if you know anything about this family.
