i've just found this site and your message from 2001. My grandmother on my daddy's site was Lena Baird Rhea. Her daddy was William Cisero married first to Fronnie Miller. They had 2 children Lena and Carl Silas. Fronnie died in El Capitan, NM when Lena was 9 yrs old. I understand that her daddy took her back to the Miller family (if I remember correctly, they operated the Miller Hotel in Breckenridge, TX). He subsequently married Lula Ann Miller, and they had six children.I was told they were in El Capitan working in the silver mines when Fronnie died. I have two aunts who have gone there to look for her grave. She is supposed to be buried in the El Capitan cemetery, and they were told by their mother that there was a headstone for her. But they have neven been able to find it. They were told that there had been a flashflood that had done some damage to the cemetery and probably that was why there was no marker. This is the first time I have tried to look up anything on the Bairds. I was never around my family growing up, but I have three aunts who may have information to share with you, if not already done. I visited in Silverton when I was about 8 yrs old and was told that just about everyone there was some sort of kinfolk.I was really curious about why they were in New Mexico at that time. Hope to hear from you soon.
