Betty It certainly did help. I was able to find Jesse Jewell Smith, Walter Randel Smith, and Virginia June Maud Smith Cox and their wives/children and some grandchildren. However, I'm still having problem with a O. J. Smith b:Abt 1920 (in census, looks like Lanson Ott) and Buford Smith(m) b:Abt 1929. O.J. might be Otis J. Below is what I found for the children of Thomas J and Rachel Maud Smith. If you might help me find out who O. J. and Buford Smith might be, it would help. I'm really trying to find the father of Thomas Jefferson Smith. In his father's marriage record, it says J. J. Smith. On Thomas' death record, it says his name was 'Jacon'. Thomas' first son was named Jesse Jewell Smith. (I'd use initials rather than have the Jewell too.) So, if you might follow on O. J. and Buford to see in there are in Greenleaf also, I would appreciate it. I've put up a temp little gedcom on this family. http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=whitissmith&id=I4339 Also, did you know the Texas Death Certificates 1890-1976 IMAGES are online now? http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?..#w=;p=2;c=1320964;t=searchable Thanks, I really appreciate it!
