This is not my reseach, but someone kindly sent me this information about the "Hope" family. Horatio was married first to Mary Kincheloe and they had a son named Lewis. Mary died on the trip to Texas and Lewis seems to have been raised by his Grandmother Kincheloe. Horatio and Augusta Hope Chriesman had the following children: Laura (died in infancy); Guy Rector born 1828 died 1851; Mary Jane born 1830 died 1877; Virginia Ellen born 1835 died 1881; Cornelia E. born 1838 died 1903; Richard Oscar born 1840 died 1871 (he was married to Mattie Taylor); Orcenith Wisley born 1842 died 1901; Sarah (Sallie) Amanda born 1846 died 1951(that is what I have - boy that is old!); Thomas Francis "Frank" born 1848 died 1910.
