Hi June,
I don't know if this will be any help or not. But there is a Newborn/Newburn Guinn who appeared in Gonzales Co., Tx. He was married to Elizabeth Barnes, d/o of William Banres who died ca 1857 Franklin Co., TN.
Elizabeth and N. J. Guinn settled in the Leesville area of Gonzales Co.. They sold their land and moved into Luling, Caldwell Co., Tx (12 miles south of Lockhart) I have a deed that N.Guinn notarized- he served as a JP in Luling.
Elizabeth and Newbron are buried in the Luling City Cemetery.
You can find some info on Ancestry.com if you try both Newborn and Newburn Guinn. I found some Barnes family info. Email if you would like me to forward it to you.
