Hi, Sandra. It's Carol. You may have already found this, but Sercy and Cora are in Caldwell county in 1920 and 1930.

1920:
Barber, Sercy 38 head
Cora 36 wife
Carman 16 daughter
Neil 14 son
Woody 12 son
Lois 10 daughter
Delia 8 daughter
Sercy, Jr. 4 son
Howard(?), Ben 60 Servant

1930:
Barber, Sercy A. 48 head
Cora 46 wife
Woodward 23 son
Adelia 17 daughter
Sercy 13 son

Right above the Barbers in 1930 is Nellie Woodward (72) and son Henry (32). Same page lists Chester Woodward (48), wife Maggie (47), Alton (13) and Marylin (10). I don't know if these are kin to Cora's father.
