Hi Grady,
Jarrett Miers and Nacy Clower Miers are my 4g.grandparents through their daughter, Irena who married Warnell Polk 10-Aug-1852 Caldwell County Tx.
Warnell died 12-Aug-1882 and is buried in the Old Prarie Lea Cemetery. Irena remarried to H. McElroy on 25-Dec-1895.
Irena Miers Polk Mcelroy died within a few years. Her probate is in Caldwell Co.
450 / McElroy, Irene, dec'd, D. Addington appointed temp. Admr. / 26 Nov 1897 / E532
According to my grandmother, her grandmother Clara Virginia Polk Smith (duaghter of Irena Miers Polk [Mcelroy] and Warnell Polk), told her that Irena and her mother Nancy are both buried in the Old Prairie Cemetery beside Warnell. Neither have a tombstone.
Also buried beside Warnell Polk is "Earl Polk".

This is actually Earl Polk Smith, son of Charles Phillip and Clara Virginia Polk Smith.
I beleive a duagher would know where her mother was buried; especially with her own son buried in the plot. As such, I have taken this to be true. Should you find proof otherwise, would you please let me know?
Barrowdale is very near Prairie Lea. I have identified the loaction by searching the deeds in Guadalupe Co. using desndants who still live on land ennumerated as Barrowdale in the census. If you are familiar with the area, it is just a few mlie across the river south of Prairie Lea, Caldwell Co., but in Guadalupe Co.
