Searching for information about Moses Johnson, born about 1808 in Virginia, who married Oliva Huggins in 1836 in Knox Co., IL. They appeared on the 1850 census in La Vaca, Calhoun Co., TX, with their children: Samuel, age 9; Ann Oliva, age 4; and Sidney, age 1. Samuel Little, age 19 and born in Tenn., was also living with them at the time.

Sidney Johnson, age 12, appeared with his uncle, Nathaniel Huggins, on the 1860 census in Peoria Co., IL. The value of Sidney's personal and real estate was valued at $73,000, so I assume his parents died and left him their money.
