There is a book "Indianola- The Mother of Western Texas' by Brownson Malsch.
It has a lot of information about Indianola.
Your great Grandfather is listed on page 300.
I found it at the library but it is a historical book so cannot be checked out.
I don't know if it would be available for in library viewing only thru the interlibrary loan or not.
The Publisher is State House and the ISBN is 1-880510-31-8.
It has lots of maps and pictures,
info about the ships and what happened to them etc.
very intereting book.
