Sorry, our Huggins families don't connect. Olivia and her sibs were all born in Vermont, except for a half-brother born in Illinois. Their father, David Huggins, left Coventry, Orleans Co., VT, for Knox Co., IL, in 1834. Olivia was the only one to move south.

Here is a list of Olivia's sibs and half-sibs:

1. Wiseman Bronson HUGGINS b: 27 Mar 1810 Coventry, Orleans, VT d: 02 Apr 1879 Knoxville, Knox, IL

2. Phebe M. HUGGINS b: 30 May 1811 VT d: 11 June 1852 VT

3. Nathaniel HUGGINS b: 01 July 1814 Coventry, Orleans, VT d: 21 Sep 1882 in Peoria, Peoria, IL

4. Edson Everett HUGGINS b: 11 Sep 1816 Coventry, Orleans, VT d: 28 Dec 1907 in Lohrville, Calhoun, IA

5. Olivia HUGGINS b: Abt. 1818 VT d: 22 Oct 1855 TX

6. Jerusha C. HUGGINS       b: Abt. 1822 VT d: 16 Feb 1899 in Knox Co., IL

7. David Brainard HUGGINS b: 31 Aug 1824 Coventry, Orleans, VT d: 14 Mar 1903 in Knoxville, Knox, IL

8. Charles Hubbard HUGGINS b: 17 Nov 1826 Coventry, Orleans, VT d: 26 Oct 1904 in Haw Creek, Knox, IL

9. George HUGGINS b: 06 Feb 1831 Coventry, Orleans, VT       d: 01 Mar 1920 in Knoxville, Knox, IL

10. Chester HUGGINS b: 20 Feb 1837 Knox Co., IL d: 03 Dec 1871 in Knoxville, Knox, IL

As far as I know, the Samuel LITTLE appearing on the 1850 census with Moses and Olivia (HUGGINS) JOHNSON was not related to the HUGGINS family. I haven't researched Moses JOHNSON's family.

Sorry I couldn't have been more help.
