Mrs. Nellie Ann Frazier Died Yesterday
Mrs. Nellie Ann Frazier , 89, one of Baird's oldest residents died at her home in east Baird yesterday morning at 7 o'clock, following an illness of several days with pneumonia.
Funeral services will be held at the family home this afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Royce Gilliland, Baptist Minister, conducting the service and burial will be in the family plot in Ross Cemetery.
Mrs. Frazier is the widow of Ira Frazer, who with his family came to Baird with the T & P Ry, in 1881 and had lived here continously since.
Mrs. Frazier was born in Mo--head, Ky, December 23, 1853. She is survived by one son, Ed Frazier and one daughter, Mrs. Lethie Lloyd, both of Baird, several grandchildren, Mrs. Ruby Mae Pough of Denver Colorado, Joe Hunt, with the U. S. Army in Washington, Bill Hunt, Baird; Maurice Lloyd, Baird; Mrs. Neddy McCarty, Abilene, Frank Frazier with the U. S. Marines "somewhere" in the South Pacific. Two sons, Fred and Frank Frazier and one daughter Mrs. Tennie Hunt with her husband procced her in death. She is also survived by a nephew, George Frazier of Baird and his two sisters Mrs. Bessie Bellware, Ohio and Mrs. Lillian Ferguson of Oklahama City,who lived with her for some years after the deaths of their parents and who she loved as her own children.
Wylie Funeral Home have charge of funeral arrangements.
