I do not live in Callahan Co but had to come to this forum for something else - was wondering if anyone ever got you the copy from the history book??

page 39 - St Joachim's Catholic Church of Clyde
...
Among the first families of the Catholic faith were James and Edward Dugan who came from Pennsylvania in 1883. James and Charley Crowley also came that year. In 1889, the Frank Prew family arrivved from Wisconsin and settled southwest of Clyde.....

The Obit index for the Baird Star 1888-1935-
only listed 1 Prew -
Prew, Will 2-28-1907
[they say it is on microfilm - so you should be able to contact the Callahan Library and get a print out if it is one of yours.}
Hope it helps,
Betty
