Date of Rachel Smith Patrick's (wife of Henry Patrick) death and burial place are unknown except she died between 1853 - 1856 and may be buried in one of the LaFayette cemeteries in Upshur County, Texas (this area changed to Camp County). Would also love an obit if anyone can find one.
Rachel's mother, Martha Williams Smith (wife of Britain Smith) died December 4, 1857 and her obit has recently come to light in the Southern Baptist Messenger.
Martha's obit also names several of Rachel's siblings: Lucy E. Lee, Charity E. Wilkerson, Adeline Hefner, Sarah T. Mackey, and Edmund J. Smith. All, except Adeline, had died by the time of Martha's demise.
