The Moores are a white family. Jesse was married to Myrtle Lee Cone Moore and they lived in both Camp county and Morris County at various times. Family history says Jesse died in Pittsburg, Texas around 1937. Myrtle's death certificate (I believe she died in 1945 in Pittsburg) indicates she was a widow when she died. Jesse grew up in Van Zandt county. His mother was Eva Marie Dike, father W. T. Moore.
