Looking for info on Rufus M. Stewart b. March 21, 1833 in TN, died Jan 6 1911 in Texas. His parents were John A. and Nancy Stewart. Rufus married Martha Susan Powell b. Oct. 19, 1843, died Nov. 12, 1871. Three children: Nancy Ann "Annie" Stewart b. 1863 TX, Mildred F. Stewart b. 1867, Rufus Clay Stewart b. 1869 TX
On June 27, 1872 he married wife # 2 Nancy Jane Humphrey b. Feb. 25, 1855, died Dec. 13, 1933. Children: Sarah Jane "Sallie" Stewart b. Aug 2, 1873 d. Aug 28, 1980, John W. Stewart b. April 15, 1876 d. l964, Kate Stewart b. March 1878, Carrie Lena Stewart b. sept. 15, 1887, Callie Stewart b. Aug 1890 d. 1941, Ora Stewart b. 1893.
Rufus had 3 sisters, Jane Holt Stewart, Mary Eliza Stewart and Sarah "Sally" Stewart and three brothers 2 are unknown to us, the 3rd is William T. Stewart.
We really would like to find the names of the two missing brothers. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
