Patricia: I did manage to find the family in 1920 on image 29 Panola Co. So difficult to read the childrens names, but looks like Drewy for Andrew, Lucile possibly for Dorothy L. and loyce or something like it for Lois. Still cannot find anything in 1900, that might fit in either Texas or LA. Could it be that Jackson was enumerated on two census locations? The one in Panola Co, says aged 20, and a boarder, perhaps the folks he was living with , thought he might have been about 20. That census was dated April 28th. The one in Louisiana De Soto Co, was dated May 4th, He could have returned home, or he was just listed as one of the family even though away. I have seen this happen before, in my own family research. The Mollie/Mallie could be his mother, but we may never know. Might try and find an obituary for the boys listed with Jackson in Louisiana and see if he might be mentioned. Sorry I can't find out more. Howard Boswell Notify Administrator about this message?
