1900 Hunt Co.,TX...Census
Rand Carter, w: Lydia
2 boys..Wofford and John?Tom

1902..M.A. Carter, dtr b: Ladonia, Fannin, Tx

1916..M.A.Carter m:WA Cook, Quanah, Hardemon, Tx
she was his 2nd wife, his lst:McWms/Hopkins Co.,Tx.

1920..Lydia in hh w/J.E. Story as housekeeper w/children listed as "boarders". He had 2 disabled children.
Morris Co., shows that in the 1920's they obtained a marraige license. Lydia's children in hh: Joe/Mazie/Myrtle

1930..Census shows Lydia as Mr. Story's wife.

1931..Mr Story and son die, leaving another woman as widow.

Nothing known afterward, re: where Rand/Lydia are buried.

Recently found, in the Cass Co Tx records, that M.A.Carter-Cook's sisters were married in Cass Co., Tx, where she was living during that time, so they'd been reunited, if location had been unknown, prior to that. Lots of unknown info re this family. I believe Lydia was Rand's 2nd wife and do not know if they were married in "Ky" or if he came to TX as a widower and married Lydia mnu, in Hunt Co.,or how it all went. He supposedly died of an infected bug bite...where, I do not know. Any clues appreciated.
Rand/Lydia Carter were my Great-Grandparents.
