I am searching for the name of the Blackmon who married Olie Mae Jarvis. They had children: Ralph C. b 1895/96 Roy b 1896/97 and Octavia Mae b Sept 1898. I find the family listed as both Blackman and Blackmon in census records. By the 1910 census Olie Jarvis Blackmon had m2 Edward Goodrum and was living in Palo Dura Co TX. She had a son Earl Goodrum bc 1905. That indicates that her Blackmon husband had died btw the time she got pregnant with Octavia in 1898 and 1904.
Son Roy Blackmon's WW1 Draft Card states that his father was born in Griffin, TX. That is the only clue that I have found to learn the name of the Blackmon father of Ralph, Roy and Octavia.
Olie Jarvis was b 1876 in Smith Co TX.
