My Barnes family shows up in Cherokee Co in 1860 census. In 1850 they were in Macon Co, Ga.
Here are the names that show up in Cherokee Co and I need some help with them.
Father: Woodard Barnes 1814 NC- 1862 Cherokee Co, Tx.
Children:
William 1837 NC. 1870 Cherokee Co has wife Lousia J B. Tn and son Willburn 1869 Tx.
Frances 1842 NC (I found a marriage for Frances M Barnes and John W PACKER 8 Aug 1867 Cherokee Co. Is this the same person?)
Lucinda 1844 GA.
Martha E 1846 GA md. Thomas J ALLEN in Cherokee Co?
Victoria B 1853 GA. I have info from "someone, somewhere" that she died 16 Feb 1950, Lufkin, Angelina Co, Tx. But I don't know if she married or not.
Ella 1856 GA.. supposedly died in San Antonio, Tx.
Catherine Arcadia 1858 GA
Woodard is the father of Martha Jane who md. Lucius Mack Spears. They were also in Cherokee Co in 1860. They are my gggrandparents and I have plenty of info on them.
