If you haven't found the informantion you wanted you can obtain a copy of their death certificates, and the names of their parents should be on them. But, accuracy of DCs only as good as the knowledge of the informant. On the other hand you also can obtain a copy of their applications for their Soc Sec cards. They should have known their parents and those names will be on those applications.
You said you found them on the SSDI. To the far right see SS-5 Letter? Click on that and you will see a letter you can print out. It will have the information on the applicant. Just be sure you add your name and address so they'll know where to send the copy of those applications.
