James Richard ( Dick ) Winton left Tennessee for Childress Co., Texas, not sure when he left but one of the first grandchildren in this family was born in Cottle Co., Texas in 1887.
The youngest child I have for James Richard Winton is Hugh L. Winton born Nov 1877 listed as born in Grundy Co., TN.
Also I am trying to tie James Alonzo Winton born at Hubbard's Cove, Grundy Co., TN Nov 10, 1869 to James Richard ( Dick ) Winton. This Lon Winton shows up in the same area of Texas as James Richard Winton and is the age of Dick's sons. Anyone have any information on him?
Does someone research the Warren line...who were Anna Warren's parents? She married James Richard Winton 23 May 1858 in Grundy Co., TN. She died 15 Sep 1896 and is buried in Cottle Co., Tx.
