All of the families did come via different routes. My Jones family entered Texas in 1839 and lived in Rusk County, then about 1860 moved to Johnson/Hood County, and my GGgrandfather's family then moved to Ellis, Young and then Childress Co. My Coffey family moved to Cooke County TX about 1870 and then Childress early 1880's.
