I am researching these families that lived in the Childress,Childress Co.,Tx. area. The Hackler and Partain families have lived there for a long time. I believer one Sidney Partain was a deputy sheriff there. Many of the Hacklers lived in the Kirkland area.
I am not sure how long the Jeter's were there, but there is a picture on the Childress County website of the Jeter-Townsend Hospital,dated 1934. I would be interested in knowing about the Dr. Jeter that was involved with the hospital.
The Barley family lived in the area I know in the 1920's and 1930's.
I would appreciate any information on any of these families.
