You are quite welcome. I was born and raised in Childress County and was just checking the posts. I do know the clerks in the county clerks office are helpful in obtaining these type records. If he married in Childress Co the record should be there. And it is also possible that if Grace died there they will also have the record.
As for your Dad being in the oil business, there was some but not an abundance of oil drilling in Childress Co. I wish you luck in your search.
