Thanks for your help, but I've been barking up the wrong tree. While Frederick Green Browning was in Garza Co. in 1930,....but, Len Madison Browning, mother Lela, and brother Howard are in Lynn Co. TX...so I just assumed...BADD...Anyway, in tracking further:
Lela Smith (daughter of SM Smith) married Sidney L. Browning in Dec 1890...Sidney's father signed for him ...a James M. Browning ....(in looking at the census of 1880 Clay Co Ala. he was born in 1825 in NC) can't make out the mother, looks like it might be Dovie age was 54 born in GA. Anyway, Lela on the 1930 census of Lynn Co. TX is listed as divorced, her last child was born in 1912, Len and Howard, don't know if they were twins or not, but it looks possible.
The rest of the children are right Annie, Ester P., Len Madison and Howard.
Again, I ask for help, this time in locating Sidney L. Browning, James M. Browning, SM Smith, and Lela Smith, thanks and pardon my ASSUMING, i sure goofed this time.
