I am looking for Reedys that lived in Clay County about 1890. Mattie Reedy married Joshua Buchanan Alexander probably in 1890 and had a son, Clarence Reedy Alexander, born in Clay Co. July 31, 1891 and Ferris Lee Alexander born Aug. 30, 1893. Then she had twins (a boy and a girl) that died at birth abt 1895. I do not know if she died in child birth, but he is back in TN and married to a second wife by 1899.
I need any information I can get on Mattie and her families and would like to request records look-up for marriage license, and/or birth certificates and death certificated and posssible burial locations. Any help that I can get will be appreciated. Joshua is my dead husband's grandfather by a third marrage. I have no contact with any of his family (if anyone is still living) and I want to document information about the "other" family.
