I am looking for info on my great grandfather, John Woodson Barnett, born 7/22/1858 in KY, died 1938 in Robert Lee,Coke County, Texas. Married Exer V. Murray on 8/5/1897. I believe he was a school teacher before going to Texas. In Tx, he met his wife, Exer Murray, who was the daughter of the sheriff, Lochlin B. Murray. J.W. Barnett became a deputy, county clerk, district clerk. He also raised sheep. His children were William L, b 1901, Verna, Lois L., born 1911 (my grandmother), and I believe another child who died young. No other info at this time. Would greatly appreciate any info someone can share. Thank you.
