Coleman, Tex., May 2 – Capt. T. J. Mershaw died here Saturday night, and his body will be shipped to-morrow to Clifton, Ky. Capt. Mershaw belonged to Basil Duke’s regiment, John Morgan’s cavalry, during the war. He was with the cavalry chieftain on his memorable raid into Ohio, and was captured with Morgan.
