George P. SANDERS was the son of Richard Mitchell SANDERS and Mary Elizabeth THOMASON. He was born April 14, 1844 in Alabama. He married Mary Olivia KENT (1849 MS - 1888 TX) in Washington Co. TX November 20, 1867. They had children: Martha E., Mary E., Albert G., Lula A., Alma Bodie, Andrew J., George P, Jesse and Robert S. (Census: 1870 Washington Co., 1880 Milam Co.)
Mary O. died in 1888 and is buried in Milam Co., TX, Little River Baptist Church Cemetery near Jones Prairie & Cameron.
George remarried ~1895 to Janie M. (what county??)
George & Janie are in the 1900, 1910 (shows 2nd marriage for both) and 1920 census of Coleman County, TX. George died May 7, 1924 and is buried in the Coleman City Cemetery.
Janie M. file request for pension on George Phillip SANDERS in Coleman County. (PenApp#42124).
I am looking for ANY information on Janie. Her maiden name, married 1st name, where she is buried. 1900 census shows her birth as January 1849.
