I am seeking information on Col. Simon P. Burns that lived in Collin Co about 1870-til about 1875 when his family finished moving to Brown Co, Texas.
His daughter Lida Ellen Burns married John Henry Moore about 1874. Did they marry in Collin Co?
Col S. P. Burns was sheriff in Collin Co. I believe he lived in McKinney area. Appreciate info on Col. Burns and his daughter Ellen Burns Moore. Thank you, Doris
